Privacy policy

Key points

The complete policies below are available in Traditional Chinese and English.

Country traffic and visitor estimates

We aggregate country or region page views and daily visitor estimates for public pages. This feature sets no new tracking cookie and stores no full IP address, page URL, account or precise location. Connection and browser information temporarily produces a daily anonymous code to reduce duplicate counts; codes are not linked across days. Deduplication records older than 31 days are removed in batches as new traffic is processed. Country and date totals may be retained longer. These new country statistics respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Location follows the connection, so VPNs and shared connections may affect estimates. We also aggregate normalized public-page and guide codes, and clicks on ECPay support links, direct PayPal payment links and embedded PayPal payment buttons, without storing complete URLs or query parameters. Member, sign-in, editing and admin pages are excluded. Build and share pages are grouped by page type without individual member or share links. Clicks are not completed donations. These analytics record button events only and do not read payment form contents, amounts, card details or payment results. Date, page and click totals may be retained longer.

Site messages and member correspondence

Site sponsors and collaborators can write to or reply to the administrator. Private message content, member numbers, display names, timestamps and read/reply status are used to handle that correspondence and are available only to you and authorized administrators, not other members. Site letters do not automatically send email or go to an external translation service. Revoked eligibility prevents new letters but does not remove your access to your own sent history. Do not include passwords or complete payment details.

Operator and contact

This policy applies to RO BuildLab, maintained by Scott. For personal data, privacy or account questions, contact a8472121@gmail.com.

Data we collect and why

Registration uses your email address, display name and password authentication data for sign-in, account management, verification emails and password resets. Character, server, guild and combat statistics, proof images, feather plans, resource records and privacy settings that you choose to submit support the tools, saved configurations, guild verification and sharing features. Supporter registration information is used to verify contributions and display the supporter list according to your choices.

Connection and security information may be used to prevent abuse, limit requests and troubleshoot problems. The traffic page displays aggregate daily page views, rather than individual visitors’ browsing histories.

Retention, locations and access

We use data for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain your account and operate the relevant features. Security, dispute or legally required records may be retained for a necessary period. The operator and hosting, storage and email service providers may process necessary data in Taiwan or on servers in other countries. Public or guild sharing makes the relevant information available to visitors with the corresponding access.

Builds and feather plans can be public, visible to eligible members of the same guild, or private. Rankings may retain a character’s rank and score while hiding detailed statistics under the feature’s privacy rules. Public content may be indexed by search engines or saved by others. Changing privacy settings restricts subsequent access on this site, but cannot remove copies already saved elsewhere. Proof images require the relevant authentication and review permissions.

Cookies, device storage and external services

Sign-in cookies maintain your session. Browser storage keeps your language preference, unsaved drafts, device plans and resource settings. Clearing cookies or device storage may sign you out and remove content that has not been saved to your account. Support payments use external services such as ECPay and PayPal. Their payment and cookie practices follow their own policies. RO BuildLab does not receive your full credit card details.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

The public homepage includes Google AdSense code to connect the site and support its review. This does not mean Google has approved the site. Ad display depends on approval and the advertising settings. When Google code loads, Google may receive your IP address, browser, device and page information and may use cookies or other local storage depending on the service and your settings, even if no ad is displayed.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to provide personalized ads. Read how Google uses information from partner sites, manage personalization in Google's My Ad Center, or visit third-party advertising choices for other vendors' opt-out options.

Before serving personalized ads to users in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform must be configured with the applicable consent, refusal and change options. This privacy policy does not replace that consent process.

Your choices and requests

You can change your display name and manage plans and privacy settings in the member center. To request access to or a copy of your personal data, corrections, cessation of collection or processing, or deletion, contact the email address above. We may need to verify your identity to protect your account. If legally required or necessary records cannot be deleted immediately, we will explain this when handling your request.

Creating an account and submitting data are optional. Without the information required for registration, account storage is unavailable. Without proof images, certain guild verification features may be unavailable. You can still use public content and tools that do not require an account.

Policy changes

We update this page when services or data uses change. Material changes affecting consent or your interests will be communicated separately where applicable.
