Combat guide
Key points for the Assassin's mobile suit configuration
(1) Critical Strike: At least 120, aiming for 130+ is recommended
Critical strike is one of the most important core attributes for assassins! If critical hits don't meet the required standards, overall damage will drop significantly, so be sure to prioritize ensuring you have enough critical hits.
Considering the possible new MVP released in the future, it is recommended to aim for a critical hit above 130 as a long-term development goal.
(2) Attack Speed (ASPD): 438%
Attack speed is recommended at 438%. With attack speed potions and priest buffs, you can reach exactly 500% attack speed.
(3) Physical Attack and Strength: The higher, the better
Once both critical strikes and attack speed are maximized, increase physical attack and power as much as possible to further enhance overall damage output.
(4) Gray Forest Card Setup
Possess Baphomet MVP card: Equip 2 Grey Forest cards.
No Baphomet MVP cards: It is recommended to equip at least 3~4 Gray Forest cards.
(5) Enchantment choices: Dungeon Fighting Spirit, Wild Sharpness!
Dungeons (such as the Temple of Darkness): It is recommended to focus on enchanting 'Fighting Spirit' to increase physical damage by % and strengthen dungeon damage output.
Wilderness MVP: Just choose the 'Sharp' enchantment!
# For poison stacking tips, please see the author's notes below.
Author notes
# 1. What is Poison Stacking?
'Poison stacking' means using assassin skills or normal attacks to continuously accumulate poison effects on enemies.
Besides the poison effect itself, stacking poison also reduces the enemy's resistance to poison attacks, increasing our subsequent poison damage.
*Poison the enemy first→ accumulate poison stacks → reduce enemy resistance→ deal higher damage. *
# 2. Why stack poisons?
Each layer of poison reduces the enemy's poison attribute skill reduction by about 25% and affects their physical defense
When enemies accumulate three layers of poison, the damage from poison attacks can be approximately *1.45 times the original*.
# 3. How do assassins stack poison?
*(1) Deadly Poison Short Knife*
Used approximately every 8 seconds, continuously inflicts poison on enemies.
*(2) Virus Spread*
Suitable for continuous poisoning and maintaining the poison state. When fully equipped, the skill lasts about 50 seconds.
*(3) Normal Attack*
After using Poison or Fatal Poison, try to poison enemies with normal attacks.
In actual combat, you can first use a deadly poison dagger or virus spreading to poison, then combine it with normal attacks to replenish the poison layer.
*The key is not to keep pressing skills, but to keep the target maintaining the required number of poison stacks. *
# 4. Which enemies are best for stacking poison?
| Enemy defense attribute | Poison attribute attack effect |
| Wind Attribute | +25% Damage |
| Earth Attribute | +25% Damage |
| Fire Attribute | +25% Damage |
| Water Attribute | +25% Damage |
| No attribute | No extra adjustments |
| Attribute | No extra additions or subtractions |
Enemies with wind, earth, fire, water, nothing, and Nen attributes
# 5. What is the difference between 'Double Poison' and 'Poison'?
Stacked Poison: Applies poison effects to enemies, mainly changing the conditions under which enemies can take damage.
Poison: Grants poison attribute to attacks that match the skill's effect, used to counter attributes and boost related damage.
The two can work together, but they are not the same thing.
